Verdict

Willie Mullins has a strong hand in this lucrative handicap and GREAT WHITE SHARK (NAP) can take this for the yard. A winner on the Flat here on Tuesday, she completed a double over timber in the spring and an opening handicap mark of 131 can be exploited. Contingency is another bright prospect for the champion trainer having just been touched off by stable companion Mr Adjudicator in a Grade B handicap at Punchestown before a very easy victory over fences at Tramore. Eclat Des Mottes and Ask Susan are the yard's other representatives and neither can be dismissed. John Quinn sends Project Blueblood from Yorkshire and the six-year-old, owned by J P McManus, has been in very good form and though Nick Gifford's Didtheyleaveuoutto hasn't run since February he goes particularly well fresh having won first time out in both of his season's to race. Rashaan has a touch of class having won a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse in April and Davy Russell rides again.
