In depth

Verdict

THE TRIGGER is in the form of his life having completed a hat-trick with an easy victory at Limerick. He's been hit with a 12lb rise but still doesn't look badly treated on 102 and can go in again. Tune The Chello had been threatening to win before landing a Killarney maiden that has worked out very well so is an obvious contender but Cherif De L'Isle has only raced on testing ground and looked a confirmed stayer when scoring over 2m6f at Limerick in heavy going. Pass The Ball is capable of winning a race like this and is back on the same mark as when completing a hat-trick at Sligo almost two years ago. Victoria Bay warmed up for this with a good run at Kilbeggan while Brogine produced easily her best run to date over fences at Tipperary.
