    Verdict

Mount Moriah could have his latest Ascot victory over Getback In Paris boosted in the previous race and he'll be happy on the going. Across Dubai has only run three times, scoring on Polytrack and fast going at Haydock and he'll need much more here, as will Jake's Hill, though the latter ran better than expected in Listed company at Sandown after an earlier maiden success there. Nottingham maiden winner CRYSTAL OCEAN finished a close third behind Permian in the Dante and occupied the same spot behind the winner and today's rival Khalidi in the King Edward VII at Ascot. He was run out of second place close home and this easier track can enable him to see off John Gosden's charge this time.
