Verdict
The hat-trick seeking Exterior may not have stopped improving yet and is selected over Krugerrand and Langford, who have hit form at the right time for this. That is not to say that Maghanim is not without a chance of carrying top weight to victory, as he has a touch of class about him and is surely better than his form figures would have you believe. King's County and Gold History are quite closely matched judged on their respective performances in a valuable handicap at Newbury from earlier in the season. Both have left the impression that they are struggling to find their way at the moment though and it may be prudent to see if there is money to back up their claims before taking the plunge with either. Nevertheless, Exterior makes a fair bit more appeal, as he has been deliberately brought along slowly and has more than enough scope to take a race like this along the way.
