Verdict

Wait For The Will has been running poorly of late but he goes well at this track and is taken each-way against recent winners Tidal and Man At Arms. Gary Moore's charge is probably one of the quirkiest horses in training and while you'd need a leap of faith to back him on this year's form there's every chance that this course and distance could reawaken his enthusiasm for the game. If following mares in form is your route to winners, Tidal should be your pick. She hasn't looked like losing in her last two runs and is quickly turned out under a 5lb penalty. Man At Arms ran away with a Brighton handicap and confirmed the impression of a solid run behind Cause Celebre at Bath earlier in the season. Richemaur is watched in the market for any positive signs while Northside Lodge will need an end-to-end gallop to show his best form. A good race in which Wait For The Will could be a price.
