Verdict
A difficult opener to the card at Newmarket can go to Prime Offer, who at least arrives here in decent form and edges the vote over Queen Charlotte and Single Track Mind, who spearhead the challenge presented by the rest. However, Dalraith also holds claims on bits of form this season and is another that should not be too far away. Whereas it may be prudent to monitor the betting before assuming that Arran, as the lest exposed of Vince Smith's two runners, has been laid out for a contest of this nature and is expected to improve for the step up in trip. Queen Charlotte has a good record when she is fresh and has no fears surrounding her challenge on this ground. However, she has shown little sparkle in her last two starts and now has something to prove. Single Track Mind also fits that sort of profile after continually find a few too good in his races from what has already been a very busy period for him. Therefore, this may be best left to Prime Offer as his three-length defeat of Brilliantrio at Yarmouth reads as well as any of the recent form on offer.
