In depth
Verdict
Corridor Creeper is just about at peak form and can land this valuable handicap at the expense of Peruvian Chief and Little Edward. Milton Bradley's gelding contested two competitive races within a week, finishing fifth at Chester, and going one better next time at York. If those exertions haven't taken two much out of him he must be in with a tremendous chance here. Peruvian Chief had the top three in today's handicap behind when contesting the Palace House Stakes last time, he is obviously better off at the weights with those rivals and looks set to figure in the finish. Little Edward battled against some top sprinters last season and should be spot on after two promising runs this term. Of the others Texas Gold should not be underestimated, he is as game as they come, but Corridor Creeper looks the pick of the weights and gets the narrow verdict.
