Verdict
Probably not that strong a race, but Sister Sophia, Hayhaat and Itnab have shown enough to suggest they can win a little race, but none of them have looked anything special so it would come as no surprise to see this going to a newcomer. Marcus Tregoning has his team in much better form now and his Janayen, who is out of a mare that won six races at up to ten-furlongs is one to keep an eye on. However, Dicharachera gets the vote to make a winning debut. Henry Cecil has his team in much better form this year and has saddled six winners from only 23 runners, giving him a strike rate of 26%. His representative here is from the same family as the useful middle-distance performer Legal Case and Lancashire Oaks runner-up La Sky, who is the dam of One of Henry's Oaks winners, Love Divine. Sister Sophia may find improvement for the step up in trip, but she will need to, while Itnab, who is out of Guineas winner Midway Lady, is a sister to high-class miler Umniyatee and will be well suited to this trip. Hayhaat, now in the care of Barry Hills, having raced as a juvenile for David Loder, looks the sort to do better as a three-year-old and is certainly one to keep an eye on, while Itnab, who runs in the same colours as the latter, showed enough on her debut last year to be of some interest in this, but her stable hasn't got going yet and is passed over.
