    Verdict

Zabeel Champion is proven over the trip having completed a double at Newmarket but is 8lb higher today so a chance is taken on Godolphin’s BRIGHT MELODY. The latter was beaten less than a length in a Listed contest over today’s distance at Longchamp last time and should go close again back in a handicap. Several run over today’s distance for the first time including Magical Morning, well beaten in Listed company recently but back on faster going today, while Al Salt defied a penalty in a novices' race at Wolverhampton and debuts on Turf. Magnetised will be sharper for a recent second at Thirsk and is preferred to Celtic Art and Starcat of the remainder.
