Verdict
With Marcus Tregoning's team coming back into form, Sattam can make up for an unlucky run at Kempton, with Binanti, Jay Gee's Choice and Arkholme others worthy of a mention. Sattam has been unfortunate on each of his two outings since returning from an 11-month absence, meeting all the trouble going when a neck second at Sandown, and then finding his path blocked on the rail when stepped up to a mile at Kempton next time. He has worn a visor on each of his two starts, and with the aid left on again, the son of Danehill is taken to add to last season's sole win at Salisbury. Binanti threw away a winning opportunity at Sandown by hanging left under pressure when leading inside the final furlong, but should not be written off yet and is a leading player. Jay Gee's Choice showed plenty of tenacity when making most at Pontefract but has a tougher task here, giving weight all round, while Arkholme, one of the younger brigade, is closely matched with the selection on running behind Blue Trojan at Kempton. There are plenty in with chances, but Sattam can make up for lost time by gaining an overdue win.
