In depth

Verdict

Isabella's Fancy looks the interesting one in this handicap and is taken to score at the expense of The Willowy Wigeon and Deep Winter. The selection runs in a first time handicap after showing only a modest level of ability in maidens. That said he does now run over two furlongs further that should bring out some further improvement in him so he could be the most interesting runner in the race. The Willowy Wigeon has cheek pieces applied for the first time after being exposed against selling company and more recently in handicaps. Yes he could be open to further improvement but this looks more competitive than some of his earlier races so he is best watched. Deep Winter is another to note after showing some form in maiden races. That said he may not be that well handicapped so is to be treated with caution. So for the winner we return to Isabella's Fancy.
