Verdict
BLUE TOMATO can complete the hat-trick here at the main expense of Rasaman, Fishforcompliments and Vhujon. The selection scraped home in selling company at Musselburgh in May before improving on that run to win a competitive handicap there a week later. He always runs a good race and if in the same frame of mind then he must go close with his 6lb penalty not enough to stop him. Fishforcompliments ran well in defeat at Doncaster at the weekend and looks to be fairly treated, as does Dazzling Bay who shaped nicely in defeat last time and looks to be coming to hand. Rasaman disappointed recently but he has won at this course and if the market speaks in his favour then he could bounce back. Vhujon continues to run well and he was unlucky not to win at Ripon last time; he likes quick ground and is unlikely to be far away. Nightjar has ability but four of his five wins have come at Southwell, so along with Maze and Kashimin he is passed over. A trappy sprint but it is Blue Tomato who is given the vote.
