In depth
Verdict
Tetragon is at least in form and gets the vote in a very poor race, with Kismet Queen the only viable alternative. Karl Burke's gelding was rewarded for a string of consistent efforts when a comfortable winner of a similar race here last time, and has proved in the past that he stays this extra two furlongs so it is hard to oppose him here. Kismet Queen is still a maiden but Chris Thornton's filly has shown enough to suggest she can get some prize money in such a poor race as this, especially as she gets weight from most of her rivals and the booking of Paul Hanagan is a plus. Both Miss Ocean Monarch and Pretty Pekan face a stiff task at these weights, but were at least placed last time and the former is just preferred of the remainder.
