        Verdict

        Dark Charm was good value for his win in heavy ground at Haydock last time but is equally effective under these conditions so gets the vote to follow up at the main expense of Go Solo and Jordans Elect. The last mentioned has been running into form of late and has to be considered but Peter Monteith's gelding is on along losing sequence and may be booked for a place at best again. Middlemarch ran better behind Nevada Desert over course and distance last time and would have claims if able to reproduce the form of that run, while stablemate Regent's Secret could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Ian Semple's Defi is held by Middlemarch on running last time, while another Semple runner Toshi may struggle to give weight away all round. Go Solo looks to be going the right way now and has to be of interest but Dark Charm won with plenty in hand last time and is taken to follow up here on this faster ground.
