        Verdict

        Not many of these can be given a serious chance and recent Yarmouth winner Oldenway is taken to land another claimer ahead of Unique Moment and Thistle. The last mentioned has every chance judged by official BHB ratings but Howard Johnson's five-year-old was well held on his return and may be best watched today. A market move for Alan Swinbank's Grande Roche would be of interest but he needs to improve to trouble the selection, while Myrtle Bay represents a yard that does well with their runners in this grade but has given little cause for optimism this season. Unique Moment was disappointing in similar company at Windsor on Monday and is hard to recommend in a race where the old campaigner Oldenway has an obvious chance and is taken to make it three from his last four starts.
