Verdict
Sualda did not have the race run to suit at Hamilton last week and is taken to make amends today, with Hearthstead Dream and Tiger Frog rated the main dangers. The selection had to work hard to beat course specialist Red River Rebel (the pair clear) at Beverley at the beginning of the month. The runner-up there has since franked the form and, granted a stronger pace and luck in running, Sualda may well have followed up at Hamilton. As it was, Richard Fahey's gelding lost no caste in defeat behind Inchnadamph a run which caught the eye of the handicapper, who is set to raise the son of Idris by 3lbs in future races. He is taken to resume winning ways. Tiger Frog is interesting on his return to the flat, having been running well over hurdles and fences of late though a bigger threat may come from Newcastle claiming winner Hearthstead Dream, although this looks tougher. Archirondel took advantage of a lenient mark to win at Musselburgh last time but is 6lbs higher now, while Turks And Caicos has gone up 4lbs for his latest success on the all-weather at Southwell and has yet to show he is as effective on turf. Little Task is another worthy of a mention but Sualda has an obvious chance and is hard to oppose.
