Verdict
Time N Time Again can keep up the good recent record enjoyed by Eric Alston, with Brantwood, Legal Set and Midnight Parkes all expected to be in the shake-up. Preston trainer Eric Alston has been in great form lately and could be about to pick up another sprint handicap courtesy of Time N Time again who has shown on more than one occasion this season that his turn is near. The six-year-old went down narrowly at Chester, a track he loves, last time, but also ran well at Ripon earlier when placed again. He is not at all badly handicapped and will not mind the return to six furlongs. He has leading claims along with Brantwood, a close second on the fibresand at Southwell last time. He has not won since scoring here on his debut two years ago but is starting to look seriously well handicapped these days and is returning to form judged on that latest effort. Legal Set is another with obvious claims on his recent form, while Midnight Parkes, although the less fancied of Eric Alston's pair, should appreciate the step up in trip today. Kingscross will appreciate the drop in grade but still has a bit too much weight, and we are happy to row in with Time N Time Again.
