Verdict
Financial Future has never been out of the first three in seven career starts but, along with Trust Rule, is becoming frustrating and a better bet may be John Gosden's Sicily, who may have come up against a useful type when second to Rainbow City at Salisbury last time. The selection showed little sign of ability behind the useful Halawanda on her debut but stepped up considerably on that when going down by just a length to Sir Michael Stoute's filly at Salisbury. The slightly longer trip should not pose a problem to the daughter of Kris S and, with the ground more likely to suit her than either Financial Future or Trust Rule, she looks the one to be on. October Mist is a useful performer over both hurdles and fences and is unexposed on the level but is likely to find at least one too good and a bigger threat to the selection may come from Celtic Sapphire, who has joined Tim Easterby this term from Mark Johnston's stable but who showed little on her recent return to action.
