      Verdict

A wide open contest gets proceedings under way and Westgate Run, Turned Out Nice and Untidy Daughter are all sure to have there supporters. However we prefer to take a chance on Mantilla. The filly from the Ian Williams yard was disappointing last time out, however that was on soft ground and now she has her favoured fast ground she should go well at a fair price. Untidy Daughter has been in good form of late and her latest win over Mighty Fine but she may struggle under her penalty. Turned Out Nice is another that has claims on her best form but she has had a long season and she may be over the top. Westgate Run is from the bang in form Richard Fahey yard but she has plenty of weight for what she has actually achieved over hurdles. Of the remainder the booking of Mick FitzGerald for My Native Cork catches the eye.
