Verdict

Above N Beyond is scheduled to make a quick reappearance having being caught right on the post at Chester on Thursday. He has a little further to travel here and may struggle to get to the front from a wide draw. Richard Fahey hasn't made his customary electric start to the season but he'll be hopeful of a good run here from Novinophobia, who ended last season in good form and is preferred to stablemate Bell Heather at the weights. Mark Johnston is also double-handed with Abareeq possibly a better bet than the more-exposed Bathos. Dollar Reward looks a typical improver for Sir Michael Stoute while Shaiyem was second at Lingfield last month. EASY CODE beat two subsequent winners at Pontefract in September and is out of a Halling mare so should stay this longer trip – he gets the nod.
