In depth

Verdict

Visionary is penalised for making a winning start at Brighton last month when less than a length ahead of third-placed Raffle King. The latter may well reverse running on these better terms but REACH HIGH (NAP) makes most appeal. The Godolphin colt was only beaten a head at Doncaster a fortnight ago on his introduction and should go close with normal progress. A half-brother to a Listed winner among others, Prerogative is owned by the Royal Ascot Racing Club so it’s no surprise to see him make his debut here and Richard Hannon’s colt is preferred of the newcomers.
