Verdict

PREDOMINANCE disappointed when starting favourite for the Spring Mile but put matters right when returning a ready winner on good ground at Haydock last time. He’s preferred to stablemates Squats and Valley of Fire and can confirm latest running with Outback Traveller and Majestic Moon. Godolphin are represented by the lightly-raced Hold Tight and Flash Fire, though the latter was well behind Accession at Newmarket last month as was Grand Inquisitor and Heaven's Guest. The latter’s stablemate Rene Mathis was well beaten by Buckstay in a valuable handicap over track and trip in October but Mullionheir was progressive last year, winning five races, and warrants a second look Free Code won twice over today’s trip last season while Mister Universe won a Listed race on the all-weather in March and Fort Bastion is another to consider on last week’s second at Thirsk.
