In depth

Verdict

Wonderwork made a winning debut on good to soft at Thirsk but then finished last in both subsequent starts. Sir Oliver showed potential in his first season and returned to action with a very easy victory at Kempton so looks certain to go well. GALADRIEL landed a novices' event on good to soft at Beverley then just failed to last out an extended 6f in a Doncaster nursery. She's expected to run well back over this trip and gets the nod as top-weight Dear Power was very disappointing when odds-on at Wolverhampton. Lady Quickstep made a winning debut but has only raced on fast going.
