    Verdict

Hill Forts Timmy, Black Beauty and Laredo Sound make the shortlist here with HILL FORTS TIMMY taken to get due reward for some fine placed efforts. A winner over hurdles at Doncaster in January, Laredo Sound is making his debut over fences here for Charlie Mann. This is not the strongest of contests and it would be no surprise to see him go well. Black Beauty is a consistent type but is thoroughly exposed, beaten in a selling hurdle recently. He is likely to run his race but may find others too quick. Hill Forts Timmy has not won for 17 months but his efforts over fences have been encouraging, and better than his hurdling efforts. However, despite some placed runs at Newbury and Kempton recently he is yet to score over the bigger obstacles, but Hill Forts Timmy can put that right here.
