        Verdict

This has contest has thrown up plenty of big price winners in previous runnings of it, and KINGSWINGFORD can maintain that trend, being preferred to Dark Lane and Mazzola. It may be that he needs the race, but but those that have run this season haven't shown anything outstanding. The forecast rain will enhance his chances. Dark Lane hasn't been seen since runner up here in a nursey back in the autumn after previously winning a seller. He's got a few pounds in hand on our selection, and again will appreciate any rain. Mazzola has already had five runs this season, and seems to be improving. Towards the bottom of the weights, he's won off a higher mark than this before, and should find another win sooner rather than later. Kyllachy Star and Colleorton Choice will also find it easier if the anticipated rain has arrived. It looks a tricky one to call with plenty having a chance, but for the lucky last our support goes to Kingswingford.
