    Verdict

Dark Side Thunder is still looking for a first win on the all-weather having missed out on a hat-trick when only third at Yarmouth. But ABATE (NAP) escapes a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race under Mia Nicholls at Hamilton and was scoring off a 5lb higher mark at this time last year. Modular Magic has done all his winning over the minimum trip so far while Magnificence has only her second start over 6f having last won in 2021.
