Verdict

Young Fire has been here three times and won twice though both victories came on soft ground. Caradoc hasn't raced over a trip this short for over two years but Idoapologise just failed to get up over this trip on fast ground at Ayr last week and is on the same mark. Poet's Dawn completed a Beverley double before a moderate run on soft ground there and THIBAAN has been raised 5lb for narrow defeats at Doncaster and Newcastle. However, those runs were in better company than this and Sir Michael Stout's War Front colt can get back to winning ways.
