Verdict
MOTAFAAWIT made a successful debut at Leicester, beating today's rival Nayef Road just over a length, before giving supporters of the long odds-on Legends Of War a fright over 6f at Newbury. He has weight to concede to some interesting rivals including the Leicester runner-up, who has since been well beaten at Newmarket, but can get back to winning ways. Bullion Boss cost E100,000 and his dam has already produced winners with her first two foals. He was unfancied and green on his debut at Ayr but finished strongly once getting the hang of the job. Commanding Officer pulled too hard at York but showed some potential though Zoffee looks more of a threat as he didn't get the run of the race at Ffos Las and was only beaten a length.
