        Verdict

        Xtara made all over 6f at Carlisle and made the running for a long way over this trip at Newmarket on his nursery debut so won't go down without a fight. However, the consistent TREASURE QUEST (NAP) was only just behind in fourth and Nicola Currie's claim can see the positions reversed. Dark Thunder was staying on over 6f at Doncaster last time and looks better at this stage than stable companion Iconic Choice. So Hi Storm couldn't go the pace over 6f at Thirsk last month but was staying on so the extra furlong is a bonus.
