Verdict

This looks ultra-competitive with seven of the 17 declared runners having won last-time out. Humble Gratitude and Scofflaw, seeking a four-timer, carry penalties and the others all step up at least one grade, though the three-year-old Mayfair Spirit has already won twice over course and distance and seems to improve with every run. CLUB WEXFORD is a good advert for the training skills of Roger Fell and the top weight has the perfect draw for a front-runner. Best going left-handed, the eight-year-old can reverse Chester running with Humble Gratitude and record a fourth win of the campaign.
