        Verdict

        Gabrial The Wire wasn’t disgraced dropped back to 6f at Newmarket last time and is back over his best trip today. Jonah Jones is making a belated reappearance but won here and at York last year and could be better than a handicapper. WISE COUNSEL had to settle for share of the spoils at Sandown having looked sure to win entering the final furlong. He is 4lb higher here but has already won at the track and is likely to have conditions in his favour again. Finoah and Reeves look the pick of the remainder.
