Stepping back up to six furlongs here, Rasaman gets the vote to land it for the Kevin Ryan yard. Three outings over the minimum have brought about indifferent performances from the gelding, who races in the style of a horse requiring an additional furlong. Trained by Michael Jarvis last season, Rasaman was the winner of two Lingfield events over this trip and back down to a mark of 72, could be well handicapped when one considers when he had promised previously. Timber Treasure sets the current standard. He raced over five furlongs last time out where he appeared to get outpaced before staying on once again. Poppy's Rose drops back a furlong after racing over seven on her last three outings. She has been bang there inside the final furlong of those events before weakening and this six should see her in a better light. At bigger prices Methaaly can go well. As expected, he was outclassed last time at Chester and while he appears to reserve his best for the all-weather, he is a course and distance winner. Peter Island was well supported prior to his last outing, his first for seven months. That was a very moderate heat though and he will need improvement from that seasonal debut to land this. Rasaman gets the vote to land this six furlong handicap.
