In depth

Verdict

Pedigree and experience suggest that Agent Parmigiano can break his duck here for Gerard Butler, while Siciliando may prove best of the newcomers. The selection went close in a five furlong Ascot maiden on debut and was highly tried at Sandown last time without success. The step up in trip should be a positive move and back on fast ground he can score. Coconut Shy was runner up in a Yarmouth seller and this is much tougher, and Yokozuna might prove best of the others with experience. Of those having their first outing, Siciliando is bred for speed and comes from a yard going very well, so he is expected to put up a good effort, and Mick Channon's benetti also has the pedigree to suggest that he can get involved. However, Agent Parmigiano has vital experience that he can bring to bare here.
