Verdict

On the evidence of what we have seen so far Come On Buckers and Rose Of Coma look the two to concentrate on here and we will side with Rose Of Coma. The Richard Fahey-trained gelding steps up to this trip for the first time, has not been beaten far in four previous sellers, and can show a bit of improvement for the extra distance, which may well be good enough on ground she handles. Come On Buckers has raced only on soft ground thus far so his ability to handle this faster surface has to be taken on trust. The step up to 6f helped him win last time and he should also be in the shake up if he lasts this extra furlong. Like Come On Buckers, Debbys Boy also sports headgear for the first time. Trip and ground should suit but he'd have to improve a fair bit on what we've seen so far to win even this poor race. Twinkle De Star is stepped up from his 5f Lingfield debut and should come on for the run, so watch the market for clues both there and with newcomer Charly's Rose, who comes from a yard that has its runners in pretty good order. Rose Of Coma can bloom here.
