In depth

Verdict

Gold Prospect is the pick to land the finale for the Michael Bell yard. This dual Wolverhampton winner is taken to put behind a poor performance at Great Leighs last time after slipping to mark which he can take full advantage of. Bajan Parkes showed real improvement for his first outing and the quicker surface to land a Carlisle handicap last time although a 7lb rise looks steep, granted the third has scored since but the trip at Carlisle was much too short for her. New Star bids for back-to-back victories after a Newbury victory last time but conditions today are very different. Bull Market's participation hinges on how he comes out of his engagement on Tuesday. Gold Prospect gets the vote to land the finale.
