Verdict

Al Aasy will probably start favourite having proved a length-and-a-half too good for Phantom Flight in a Listed race at Newbury three weeks ago. Jim Crowley was on the winner of this last year for his retainer but his mount today is far from straightforward. Phantom Flight and El Drama were both behind KING OF CONQUEST (NAP) when the Godolphin runner won at Goodwood in May and Savvy Victory looks held on a subsequent run together in the Wolferton at Ascot. He can get his head back in front here even though York winner Midnight Mile gets all the allowances as a three-year-old filly.
