Verdict

This is a very different test for last week's comfortable Chester winner Colour Vision, who was receiving weight all round on the Roodeye but now finds himself at the opposite end of the handicap with an additional 6lb to carry. Argocat has his sights lowered but hasn't really been firing this year, while Emperor Of Rome has more to do than when winning a Redcar maiden last month and had earlier been easily brushed aside by CAPTAIN BROWN over 1m4f at Newcastle. The gelding was always playing catch-up when blowing the start at Musselburgh next time but that race has produced a host of subsequent scorers, including Queen's Vase hero Namibian, and Sir Mark Prescott's charge can make amends here. The consistent Dark Dune has only gone up 3lb for scoring over C&D two weeks ago and could be the main danger.
