    Verdict

    Thebannerkingrebel would be unbeaten over hurdles but for falling when in front at the last at Wetherby in November. He won a Listed race over course and distance shortly after but has to give 5lb here to the highly-progressive EDWARDSTONE (NAP). Alan King’s six-year-old beat a subsequent Grade 1 winner at Wincanton on his hurdles bow and then beat another smart Colin Tizzard novice in Harry Senior at Aintree, when conceding 6lb. Stolen Silver is no mug as he chased home the promising Chantry House at Cheltenham after scoring at Ffos Las but Snookered is an exposed handicapper.
