Verdict

Cause Toujours was second to Grand Sancy in a Listed race here in November and may have benefited from a break. Top weight Red Tornado is not out of this, especially if the ground continues to dry out, and Peruvien Bleu was more like his old self at Ludlow at the start of the month. Hijran has been cleverly placed to win three times this season and will again benefit from Jason Dixon’s claim while there also possibilities about Ming Dynasty and the lightly-weighted Tim Rocco but it may be worth sticking with Wincanton scorer CUBSWIN now she’s found her form again. Neil King’s mare is now on a career-high mark but Richard Johnson keeps the partnership intact.
