Verdict
Salmanazar may be running out of time and opportunities to record a first victory over fences and younger stablemate Mahlermade is proving equally frustrating. Uhlan Bute has claims but Loose Chips looks to be feeling his age while The Paddy Pie and Sumkindofking may be more effective over shorter distances. Quarenta stayed on strongly to score over the trip last time, though has only won at Warwick so far. DUEL AT DAWN hasn’t really kicked on this season but there was more encouragement in a recent third at Exeter and he’s potentially well treated if the blinkers work a second time.
