Verdict
Lets Get It On is due to go up 5lbs in future handicaps following his fine second to Bo McGinty at Hamilton recently but John Quinn's gelding may not be so effective under today's faster conditions, so the vote goes to Flipando, who is preferred to He's A Rocket and Bridgewater Boys. The selection remains unexposed after just four starts and made a highly satisfactory reappearance when a three-length fourth behind Molcon at Ascot last month. David Barron's gelding should appreciate today's quicker ground, is entitled to come on for that run and looks well treated. He's A Rocket has been running well in lower grade but the handicapper may have his measure now and a bigger threat looks to be Bridgewater Boys, who has to carry a 5lb penalty for his defeat of 16 rivals in a Salisbury handicap last time. The lightly raced Treasure Cay and Ace Club from the in-form stable of Willie Haggas are others to consider but we are happy to stick with Flipando.
