Verdict

Ballybeg Boss was beaten 25 lengths by the odds-on Altobelli at Carlisle while Diamand De Vindecy, four-times a winner on the Flat in France, was beaten a dozen lengths at the same fixture. FOUROFAKIND led for a long way at Taunton in December and again at Newbury earlier this month so gets the vote though V Twelve, a winner at Windsor in October, showed up well for a long way on his hurdling bow here last month before unseating at the last. Dual Flat winner Greatness Awaits could not match strides with Planet Legend at Kelso but is also engaged at Warwick. Bells Express has ability and is by no means out of this tricky opener.
