      Verdict

      Another moderate contest, with most of these more at home in selling company. This track can be quite tricky for novices, so with the free running Macgyver sure to be setting a furious pace, there should be plenty of thrills and spills. Lavinia Taylor's seven-year-old, a winner of a maiden hurdle in New Zealand last year, on ground similar to this, is somewhat unlucky to still be seeking his first win in this country after some promising efforts. He is sure to have most of these in trouble before halfway and can finally get off the mark over fences. He can be followed home at a respectable distance by Jetowa Du Bois Hue, who has shown he has a small race in him, but whether he will act on this faster surface remains to be seen. Selling hurdle winner Flush , has shown little since switching his attentions to chasing, while Atalya looks to have a difficult task trying to give weight away all round.
