In depth

Verdict

Considering he has a Flat pedigree, Subcontinent has done well under NH Rules and found only one too good at Bangor on only his second try over fences. Guy followed up a win at Huntingdon with a second at Wetherby but ECLAIR SURF should build on an unlucky second over course and distance last month, especially back on his favoured soft ground. Golden Whisky is eased a couple of pounds but is more exposed than some and Furiously Fast needs to improve on what he’s shown so far over fences.
