    Verdict

Long Call won his maiden here in 2017 but has proved more effective on the Flat subsequently on quicker ground than he’ll encounter today. Demopolis came good at Ludlow at the start of the year and was second on his reappearance at Market Rasen earlier this month, though dismounted immediately after the winning post as if something was amiss. He may be a short price here and is taken on with SONG OF THE HUNTER, who beat a subsequent winner at Taunton in March and has only had two runs under Rules. The Garrison has gone backwards since a win at Uttoxeter in October.
