Verdict

Jim Best won this last year with Skye But N Ben and it could be worth taking a chance this time around on stablemate CARLTON SCROOP. The eight-year-old's record over hurdles is nothing to write home about but he has been in grand form on the all-weather over the winter, landing a decent claimer over 1m6f at Wolverhampton in January, and this won't take much winning. Keep Guessing is tried in a visor after disappointing at Market Rasen earlier this month but Top Achiever goes well here and is 14lb lower than when successful over C&D three years ago. Roxane Bruere won a novices' handicap at Huntingdon in January but has been in the handicapper's grip since.
