Verdict

Who's The Guv'Nor will need to improve on a well-beaten third here in August if he is to trouble to the two Irish runners. Bellaney Gem has found only one too good in a couple of handicaps since winning over a similar trip at Cartmel in the summer but she is meeting another Cartmel winner, GLADIATORIAL, off level weights thanks the Oran McGill’s claim and her younger rival should have her measure. Bob’s Bar is making his hurdles bow but will be worth a market check having placed in a point and a bumper.
