Verdict

Currahee won a novice event over C&D last time and though facing a tougher task should be thereabouts again, while Sierra Victor has won on soft ground here and went close over a shorter trip back at this track last month. Baltic Pathfinder and Everaard are out of sorts though Irish raider Rickardstown and the veteran Nelliedonethat have outside claims, but the vote goes to WESTERN GALE. He scored over today's trip at Wetherby in April and wasn't disgraced in better company on his latest start. Dropping down a grade today, Martin Todhunter's charge looks the one to be on.
