Verdict

Monroe Park has every chance of following up his recent win at Fakenham off a 5lb higher mark, but the booking of Tony McCoy for LIFE LONG swings the vote his way. He found only one to good at Southwell last time and looks set to strike in this less competitive contest. Himayna and Tiger Line have been in better form of late, but have something to prove over today's distance, and recent Uttoxeter fourth Chit Chat could prove a bigger threat along with Baby Car, who was a disappointing favourite on his latest start.
