      In depth

      Verdict

Portavadie,Mooramana and Solway Bob look the three to concentrate on this novices hurdle and the vote is given to Portavadie. The selection won well last time out when beating Fencote he again has conditions to suit and despite his penalty he looks the one to beat. Mooramana rates the main danger on his best form but he was slightly disappointing last time out. However this shorter trip should be in his favour and he has definite place claims. Solway Bob is another worthy of respect as he represents a powerful yard and is sure to have been well schooled for this his debut over hurdles. Of the remainder Loch Torridon is from a yard in form and should be noted in the market but in a race that has plenty of dead wood in it for the winner we return to Portavadie.
